"Uratowa mam i tat" gets Special Mention !!!

Uratowa mam i tat.  This is the Polish language translation of the title Saving Mom and Dad, as presented in the program guide of Euroshorts 2007.  The festival took place this past weekend in Warsaw.

Saving Mom and Dad was among the four films recognized in the Fiction Category of Euroshorts 2007.

The prizes for The Best Fiction Direction went to: My Mother directed by Elaine Wickham (United Kingdom) and to The Cleaner, directed by Noel Kearns (United Kingdom).

The were also two Special Mentions in the Fiction category and they went to Saving Mom and Dad  directed by Kartik Singh (France) and Un Hombre Tranquilo directed by Arantzazu Gomez Bayon (Spain).

With this recognition comes great exposure as Saving Mom and Dad will now tour Poland and will be also included in the Euroshorts DVD.  This Eastern European premiere proved to be very successful.
